Some of Our Work
Canine Companions and Your Emotional Health – webinar
In 2011, we participated in a pilot program designed to help Wounded Warriors with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). We created a webinar presentation on the therapeutic roles of companion (pet), therapy, and service dogs. This webinar was presented under the auspices of Military Pathways, a nonprofit teamed with the Department of Defense. Military Pathways provides mental health and substance abuse self-assessment and assistance programs to service personnel in all branches of the military and their families.
